GTfusiOn World Championship Round 3
We are already in Round 3 of the GTfusiOn GT Sport Team World Championship 2021
First of all, I would like to congratulate the Virtualdrivers by TX3 team for their excellent performance in the overall team ranking. Four Virtualdrivers by TX3 made it into the top 10 in the qualifying rankings. They show us that they mastered the Brazilian subject. We will have to count on them in the race for the 2021 title. [b]They take the lead in the general ranking. Slipped into second place, the Drivers of the WSR - Wise Sim Racers team will have to give everything to stay in the top 3 of the PRO category. Finally, placed on the third step of the podium, the Kimbex Racing Team is the pleasant surprise of this beginning of GTfusiOn. However, we will keep an eye on the Executive Project Team and Prima eSports, who could come and play the troublemaker in the next combo!
Speaking of which, our time machine stopped in 2016 to salute the incredible feat of the Ford manufacturer at Le Mans. Although the story begins on 19 June 1966 with the historic trifecta of the Caroll Shelby-designed Ford team of Bruce McLaren, Chris Amon, Ken Miles, Denny Hulme, Ronnie Bucknum and Richard Hutcherson in the Ford GT40 Mk.II at the French Sarthe circuit.
Fifty years later, on 19 June 2016, at the 84th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, in the LMGTE Pro class. Ford performance with the Chip Ganassi Racing team represented by drivers Joey Hand, Dirk Müller and Sébastien Bourdais will first set the fastest qualifying time in the class in 00:03:51.185 and then take a symbolic victory in the new Ford GT in the legendary 2016 Le Mans 24 Hours race. Unveiled in Detroit in January 2015 at the Auto Show, the return of the Ford GT, which has been missing since 2006, is a great delight for visitors. On sale since the end of 2016, it marks the jubilee of the undisputed victory of the three GT 40s on the Le Mans circuit in 1966. The Ford GT is produced in the Markham factory in Canada. It was equipped with the small 3.5 litre V6 (Ecoboost), a new dual-turbocharged engine developing no less than 647 bhp at 6550 rpm. With a weight limit of 1,385 kg, it has an eloquent torque of 746 Nm. Equipped with a 7-speed automatic transmission (dual clutch DCT), the Ford GT offers explosive acceleration. The top speed is 360km/h, which makes it the fastest production Ford in history. With its aesthetics, power, aerodynamics and unbelievable handling, Ford engineering has concocted a winning recipe that will continue to write the history of the American brand.
We look forward to seeing you on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of May to experience the Ford GT on the legendary Le Mans circuit for Round 3 of the GTfusiOn GT Sport Team World Championship 2021

The idea of this second meeting emerged from a conversation between Benj and TX3_Yunalesca during the Round5 broadcast on the BenjxMotors during the 2020 edition. The staff was sensitive to this proposal, thanks to them.
The theme of this Round 2 is Brazil.
First of all as a nod to one of these prestigious drivers Emerson Fittipaldi, born in São Paulo in 1946 and who will celebrate his 75th Winter on December 12th. In 1972, at the age of 25, he became the youngest World Champion in the history of F1. This record will stand until 2005, when it will be dethroned by a young Spanish prodigy, Fernando Alonso, then 24 years old since 29 July 2005.
Emerson Fittipaldi's achievements include:
-The 1969 British Formula 3 Championship title.
-2 victories in the Brazilian International Formula 2 Tournament in 1971 and 1972.
-2 World Championship titles in Formula 1 in 1972 and 1974.
-1 CART Championship title in 1989 and 2 victories in the Indianapolis 500 in 1989 and 1993.
The Fittipaldi EF7 is a mid-engined sports car. It is the first vehicle of the Fittipaldi Motors LLC car company. It is also the first Supercar to be produced in Brazil. The EF7 was initially released only for the Gran Turismo Sport as a Gran Turismo Vision, until Brazilian F1 and IndyCar driver Emerson Fittipaldi announced that he would start production of the car.
The design was developed by Pininfarina under the creative supervision of Fabio Filippini. Only 39 units will be produced. 39 comes from the 39 F1 and Indycar victories that Emerson has achieved.
Finally, the track that will welcome us is none other than the Autodromo José Carlos Pace. 1985 it was named after the former F1 driver who died in a plane crash in 1977. It is still more widely known by its former name of "Circuit de Interlagos".
Located in the southern part of the city of São Paulo in the Interlagos district. This circuit is one of the few that runs counter-clockwise. The current layout dates from the 1990s when the original circuit was shortened. The current track has a very long fast section, fast corners as well as some rather slow areas. Interlagos is an interesting circuit as it follows the hilly topography of the terrain which makes it more challenging to drive.
We look forward to seeing you, in a Carnival and Brazilian Samba atmosphere, on the 16th, 17th and 18th of April 2021 for Round 2 of the GTfusiOn GT Sport Team World Championship 2021
